Timeline Partner FAQ
Schools, school classes, fan clubs, museums, archives, associations and other credible communities may apply. A responsible adult and a verifiable organisation or group are required.
Partners can propose sourced Moments, improve descriptions, identify relevant licensed media and help keep the story accurate. Publication remains subject to Memmie’s editorial, safety and rights review.
No. The timeline remains a Memmie public page. An approved partner is credited as its maintainer and receives an agreed editorial role; Memmie may correct, moderate or revoke access when necessary.
Yes. A teacher may apply on behalf of a class and describe the learning goals, age group and planned period. The teacher remains the responsible contact and approves student contributions before submission.
Yes, when the media is owned by the contributor, licensed for reuse or in the public domain. Every item must include its source and rights information. Crediting a creator alone does not create permission.
Yes. Memmie can credit a primary maintainer and additional contributors when collaboration improves the timeline.
Applying is free. Pilot partnerships for schools, fan communities and cultural organisations are currently offered without a maintenance fee.
Memmie reviews identity, relevance, proposed sources, safeguarding needs and potential conflicts of interest. Approval is not automatic, and we may request additional documentation.
Once approved, the page can display “This public timeline is created and maintained by …” with the agreed school, class, club or organisation name and an optional website link.
Yes. A partner may step down, and Memmie may suspend or remove the role for inactivity, inaccurate sourcing, rights violations, unsafe conduct or conflicts with the public-interest purpose.
